Gnostic Mass with Dove & Serpent Oasis
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Dove and Serpent Oasis of Ordo Templi Orientis is pleased to invite the magical community to join us for our monthly celebration of Liber XV, the Gnostic Mass, on the third Sunday of each month at 3 p.m.
Mass is held at a private location in the Inman Park area. Anyone wishing to attend should e-mail Richard, the coordinator.
All our magical friends are invited to come join us as we celebrate Light, Life, Love and Liberty.
This is a magical Eucharistic rite of great beauty and power. Communing (taking the eucharist — a cake and a goblet of wine or juice) is optional on the first attendance but communication is open to all and encouraged. For those who cannot or choose not to consume alcohol, juice or water is available. Please talk to the priest or deacon before Mass if you do not wish to drink wine.
Some ritual nudity is present in the form of the priestess on the altar.
This is a participatory ritual. There are a few signs and steps that will be taught for newcomers before the rite. Don’t worry: They are quite simple, and no one cares if you don’t get them exactly right, so long as you try. Pamphlets will be available to help participants follow along.
