New Site Software

A Little Bird is using new web server software, enabling us to publish content faster and with higher quality.

The web server is now using open source Django software to publish articles and events from a database to the Web. This database-driven software allows our editors to collaborate more effectively in preparing content for publication. The rich programming environment enables our developers to build our web site’s structure and capabilities more easily.

Before the software upgrade, all web site edits were performed manually by a single editor, a labor-intensive and error-prone process.
